HolidayLettings to return damage deposits

HolidayLettings.co.uk has announced that they will shortly be able to process the return of damage/security deposits to guests.

Up to now the TripAdvisor company has, unlike FlipKey, not been able to automate the return of deposits meaning that owners and managers had to manually return payment to guests through alternative methods.

This was mentioned by owners in our listings sites survey as a flaw in the HolidayLettings system.

However with all bookings confirmed from June 16th onwards, the Oxford-based company will be able to process the reimbursement of the deposits on behalf of the owner. Hosts will be emailed when guests have checked out and will have seven days to report any damage before the full refund is sent according to instruction.
